Research Team

Our research team is led by director Dr. Antonio Pasucal-Leone, and enjoys the support of visiting researchers. However, graduate and undergraduate students make up the Emotion Change Lab. The work that they perform, whether working on dissertations, master's theses, undergraduate theses, extending work of our Alumni, or other projects, has always been essential to the success of the lab.

Lab members, Dr. Pascual-Leone, and faculty members seated at a restaurantOur research team ranges over the years from 5 to 8 students at graduate and undergraduate levels, in addition to this we often have active collaborations with other faculty from within or outside our University. Our goal is to work as a team on a range of projects to produce high-quality training and to publish research in the top-tier journals of our field. This "small shop" approach also allows for a collaborative and personalized participation at all levels. Over 80% of the students in our research lab have historically been awarded either provincial or national scholarships. The success of our graduate student members in securing external funding, despite cutbacks and increased competition, is due to the high caliber of members of the research team and to our collaborative approach.
