François Georges

François Georges is the assistant director of LabSET, a distance learning research and development centre at the Université de Liège, which assists teachers, institutions, and companies to use technologies to enhance learning. His work at LabSET includes project planning and management, as well as impact assessment. François is also involved in Formasup, a complementary Master’s degree in higher education pedagogy administered through LabSET. In this capacity, he assists participants in the design, implementation, and assessment of online learning or training activities. His main areas of expertise and research involve competency development and learning autonomy. He is currently completing doctoral research on teacher professionalization, focusing on the competencies required to improve the quality of online learning.
