Go Code Girl

Calling all aspiring engineers from grades 7 to 11! Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2025, for a thrilling day of programming and creativity at UWindsor’s annual GoCodeGirl event, sponsored by the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE). Guided by mentors, you'll learn the basics of programming and circuit simulation and discover real-life applications of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This year's activity is TBA. This event will be held in-person at the University of Windsor’s Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI), Room 2105. No previous coding experience is required and participants do not need to bring a laptop or computer.

Go CODE Girl provides an exciting opportunity for girls and non-binary students in grades 7-11 across Ontario to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development, and discover opportunities in computing and engineering fields.
