The University of Windsor Faculty of Engineering invites girls and non-binary youth in grades 7-10 to explore the field of engineering at its annual GO ENG Girl event. 

Sponsored by the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering, Go Eng Girl is an opportunity for Grade 7 to 10 girls to learn from female professionals, academics and students who are excelling in engineering.  The free event features hands-on activities.

Location: Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI), University of Windsor, 2285 Wyandotte Street W. (Across from Harvey's), Rooms 1100 & 1101

Time: 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Registration and check-in

9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Welcome and introduction to UWindsor Engineering & programs and Go Eng Girl event for all attendees

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Parents and Guardians Information Session/Q&A: Further discussion about UWindsor Engineering and programs, academic opportunities while studying (UWindsor Engineering scholarships, internships, TA, Co-op, etc.) and future trends

9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Participants work on engineering activities (Kahoot! Team Building Engineering Challenge and UWindsor GO ENG GIRL Catapult Design Challenge) and test their final designs
