Mahzan Dalawir


Mahzan Dalawir has completed his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (Salahaddin University), M.Sc. degree in Renewable Energy and Distributed Generation with Distinction (Heriot-Watt University). and M.A.Sc. degree in Power Systems (University of Windsor) in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate, pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering teaming and part of the Production & Operations Management (POM). Mahzan has been working in Canada's electric power engineering sector since 2006 specializing in designing, producing, testing, and protecting oil-immersed power transformers. Additionally, he has worked for the automotive industry for Siemens VDO in Environmental Test Laboratories. His research interests include contingency vehicle routing, electric vehicle routing, power systems, renewable energy, distributed generation, and smart grids. Mahzan is licensed with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
