Malek Mousa

Malek is a Ph.D. student taking Industrial and Manufacturing System Engineering at the University of Windsor.

His research interests cover production planning, computer aided process planning, and hybrid (Additive and Subtractive) manufacturing.

Malek completed his Bachelors in Production (Industrial and manufacturing) Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 1997. He took advanced courses is total quality management, lean operations, and flexible manufacturing systems at Wayne State University in 2004. And later completed his Masters of Science in mechanical engineering at Concordia University in 2008.

Malek has many years of practical experience in new product introduction (NPI), process improvement and optimization, as well as cost management with Tier 1 suppliers, in Canada, US, and South America.

Like many Canadians who like to give back, Malek was volunteering at the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County. As a professional Engineer of Ontario, he helps colleagues throughout the process of becoming professional engineers.
