The University of Windsor is recognized as a leader in providing wellness and mental health services to our student community. In an effort to continually improve upon these services, in February of 2017, the University of Windsor undertook a process to create a comprehensive multi-year Student Mental Health Strategy. On October 3rd, 2018 the full strategy was officially revealed to our campus community on our first annual Campus Mental Health Day.
There are 39 recommendations included in the strategy that the University of Windsor is working towards achieving over the next 5 years. With the implementation of the strategy during the summer of 2018, the committee is happy to report that they are well on their way to accomplishing 15 of the 39 recommendations and there is a plan in place for achieving the remaining points.
Find the guiding documents that informed the work done by several committees and the notes from meetings that have shaped the development and implementation of the strategy on the Strategy Development page and the Strategy Implementation page.
