UWinsite People will affect all employees paid by the University of Windsor. This includes faculty, staff, sessional instructors, student employees and more.
UWinsite People is set to launch for campus-wide user on January 6, 2025. Watch our website for our go-live date and other updates. All employees will receive an email when UWinsite People is launched.
Yes, UWinsite People will replace not only myUWinfo and My Attendance but other systems and tools, including Lotus Notes and VIP, used for human resource and payroll processes.
Yes, training will be offered for UWinsite People. Various forms of training including self-guided online learning, in-person and live online training are available. Sign up today! Training continue through to post-go live.
Absolutely! We’re committed to making the transition to UWinsite People smooth. We've rolled out dedicated resources to help you get acquainted with the new platform. Here’s what you can expect:
- Knowledge-Base Articles: Comprehensive articles will guide you through various aspects of the system.
- Job Aids: Practical tools and documents to assist with day-to-day tasks, mostly for HR and Payroll staff.
- Videos: Engaging and easy-to-follow video tutorials to walk you through key processes.
These resources are available for all staff and faculty, providing ongoing support to tackle any questions or challenges you might face.
All University employees will receive a notification in UWinsite People and by email that their time for the recent pay period has been approved. This action then automates the process of sending the files to the Payroll team for processing.
Even if you do not use a time card to enter your time, all University employees have a time card generate automatically in UWinsite People.
The term for used for Sick entries in UWinsite People is Illness/Injury.

Illness/Injury Non Work Related
