Date and Time: Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1-3pm
Engineering students, Faculty, Alumni, family, friends, and the general public are invited to attend the 2nd Annual UWindsor Engineering Car Meet. Various cars will be on display from 1-3pm in the Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI) Parking Lot. There will also be a free BBQ for all attendees, with donations recommended. Event proceeds will support Black, Indigenous, female and non-binary Engineering students through ELEVATE Scholarships – see below. Attendees will be encouraged to vote for their favourite car and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 cars.
The event is free to attend; however, a minimum donation of $1,000 is recommended for organizations participating as an Event Partner (tax receipt will be issued).

About ELEVATE Scholarships: The faculty has increased its undergraduate entrance scholarships for Black, Indigenous, and female students as well as for students who identify as non-binary to $5,000 and topped them off with a guaranteed summer research position in the Faculty of Engineering following the completion of their first year. Currently, the University of Windsor is offering a 1:1 match up to $500,000 in scholarship donations. Together, with our alumni and community partners, we can enrich the student experience and allow us to continue to grow our expanding engineering programs.
