Lancer Centre
The University of Windsor is excited to introduce the Toldo Lancer Centre. Designed to enhance the student experience, promote campus spirit and community pride, the Lancer Centre expands and enriches Building Campus, Building Community and Building Champions [JD1] at the UWindsor and throughout Windsor-Essex. The $73 million Toldo Lancer Centre provides students and visitors with access to modern facilities, including open and airy social spaces filled with natural light featuring both indoor and outdoor connections to the UWindsor campus. Our students, our community, and our region will benefit from this state-of-the-art facility that will have the ability to host international, national, and provincial games and championships, as well as large-scale events, conferences, and more.
Our students have embraced the Lancer Centre with a $55 million contribution. Their generosity demonstrates their commitment to UWindsor along with the Lancer and Windsor Proud brands. This is the largest student contribution to any university in Canada. Their belief in this project, along with their desire to ensure an inclusive environment that encourages excellence in all areas of health, wellness, and human potential, will be their legacy to UWindsor and the Windsor-Essex community for generations to come.
