The PRS Office hosts a variety of events throughout the school year. We host a few ongoing events, like our Survivors & Supporters series, or our Inclusive Sex Ed workshop, but we're also always adding new events, like live podcast recordings!

Wen-Do Women's Self Defence

2-Day Basic Course on October 25 & November 1

decorative bannerWe will cover a wide range of basic self defence techniques including hits, kicks, elbow strikes, choke releases, ground and bed self defence, and more. We will also have discussions about awareness and avoidance, harassment, sexual assault, weapons self defence, and relationship violence. The course typically costs $150/person. Members of UWindsor can access this course for a small deposit, which is returned at the end of the course. 

Availability to attend the entirety of both days, October 25 & November 1 at 9:00am-4:30pm, is required for registration.  The course will be delivered at UWindsor main campus (location to be provided after registration).  This workshop is open to women and girls (trans & cis) ages 10 and up.

UWindsor Fall Open House

Future Lancers and their families are invited to join Open House to learn about academic opportunities, campus life, and student support on Saturday, October 26. Visit the Bystander Initiative table to learn about what UWindsor is doing to address campus-based sexual violence and our prevention education workshops!

Cats against Catcalls & Costumes are not Consent

Cats against Catcalls is our yearly Hallowe'en event where we promote messaging against street harassment.  Come to the Student Centre on October 29 between 12-2pm to meet some actual cats!

Costumes are not Consent is a new initiative this year to talk about consent and Hallowe'en costumes.  Wearing a costume does not equal consent to be harassed or assaulted.  Join us on October 29 between 12-2pm to learn more!


Condom Bar

Condom Bar is back!  Visit us at the Green Bean Cafe on October 31 at 11am-2pm to make your own safer sex kit.  Learn more about our Prevent, Resist, Support programming and enjoy some candy for Hallowe'en!
