South Asian Documentary Film Festival: Fall 2024 & Winter 2025

Welcome to the (mostly) online Fall 2024 & Winter 2025 South Asian Documentary Film Festival, running from September 27, 2024, to March 28, 2025!

Event Highlights:

  • 8 Documentary Films from Across South Asia: Reflections on Climate Change
  • When: Last weekend of each month from September 27, 2024, to March 28, 2025 (excluding December)
  • Where: Online

Festival Details:

Join us for free, award-winning documentaries focused on climate change, all from the South Asian region.

  • Registration: It's free, but you must register. Visit our festival website and click the register button, which will direct you to a Google form. By registering once, you’ll automatically receive passwords each month to access the films.

  • Streaming Access: Films are available online from Friday at 5:00 PM EST to Sunday midnight EST on festival weekends.

  • Closing Event: The festival ends with an in-person screening of THE REBEL OPTIMIST and a Zoom Q&A with filmmaker Mahera Omar in Pakistan.
