Honours Physics
is our core physics stream. It provides an excellent education in physics, competitive with any undergraduate program in North America in preparing students for graduate studies in physics or related areas, or for general employment. Of all our programs, it allows the most options and hence flexibility for interdisciplinary studies.

Medical Physics
is tailored to students wanting to specialize in medical imaging and/or radiology and enter the rapidly growing field of physics in medicine. By adding specialized medical physics courses as well as courses in biology and biochemistry, this program prepares students to enter certified graduate programs in medical physics or enter the medical technology workforce.

The Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP/OCPM). COMP is the main professional body for medical physicists practicing in Canada. The membership is composed of graduate students in medical physics programs, post-doctoral fellows, as well as professional physicists, scientists, and academics located at universities, hospitals, cancer centres, and government research facilities.
