WINDSOR, Ont. — In a groundbreaking commitment to sustainability, the University of Windsor approved its Carbon Neutral Masterplan — a transformative roadmap signifying a pivotal moment in the institution’s sustainability journey.
The masterplan sets forth two ambitious goals.
A 45 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, compared to the 2019 baseline and achieving complete carbon neutrality by 2050. These targets underscore the university's leadership in environmental sustainability and its dedication to combating climate change.
