Dr. Alejandro Vital-Soto is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and Management Science in the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University, Canada. At Cape Breton University, he teaches courses for the Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics programs. He received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puebla (BUAP), Mexico and an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), Mexico. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Windsor, Canada. His research interests include production scheduling, lot-sizing, process planning, changeable manufacturing systems, industry 4.0 and data analytics.
