We conducted a University of Windsor Research Ethics Board-approved research study to investigate the perceptions of international students regarding the promising practices for teaching open and online international students at post-secondary educational institutions. This is a qualitative study. It was conducted at the University of Windsor, with research participants being University of Windsor international students who have taken online or open learning courses either at the University of Windsor or at other post-secondary educational institutions. It is led by the Teaching International Students Research Group and the Outstanding Scholars Program.
