We will post periodically research updates. Research updates to date include:
- Two University of Windsor Outstanding Scholars, Fatme Ammar and Sarah Abdul Samad, joined the project in January 2020
- The application for research was cleared by the University of Windsor Research Ethics Board on March 23, 2020
- The online survey component was completed on January 5, 2021, with quantitative analysis currently being conducted
- Optional individual interviews are currently being completed
- Two University of Windsor Outstanding Scholars (Rija Gillan and Aliyah King) joined the project in January 2021
- A thematic analysis of the interviews (15) is now being completed
- A statistical analysis of the survey data is now completed
- Due to a low response rate, we set aside the survey component of our research and are now focusing on the qualitative part only
- A draft book chapter has now been written and has been sent to the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education for peer review (April 2021)
- A paper presented during the Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse International Students in Open or Online Learning Environments: A Research Symposium is now available online in the Symposium Proceedings
- A paper was presented at the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Conference (June 2022)
