The RCMP has added additional safe-guards for the vulnerable sector enhanced screening process. Some of you may be asked to arrange a fingerprinting screen when you receive your initial response to the police clearance. If you are in this situation, please bring your most recent last police clearance and the documentation showing that you are going through this fingerprinting process to show your clinical instructor on the first day of your clinical course. This fingerprinting process may take an additional several weeks.

Please note that no student should VW (voluntarily withdraw) from a required nursing or non nursing course (eg. Human Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, etc.) without first seeking academic counselling. Dropping a required nursing or non-nursing course could prevent you from progressing into the next term of the nursing program.
Please speak to your level coordinator with any questions you may have regarding dropping a course.
