Hannah Pare, a 2023 UWindsor graduate who recently passed away, lives on through the Hannah Pare Memorial Scholarship, supporting future generations of nurses with her compassion and spirit.
Recent BScN graduate, Hannah Christine Pare, passed away on May 2, 2024, due to a post-surgical complication.
As a student, Pare excelled academically and shined as a peer mentor at Faculty of Nursing.
As a neurology nurse at Windsor Regional Hospital, she was beloved by her co-workers with her infectious smile, compassion, and work ethic.
Pare's selflessness and spirit live on through her organ donation, aiming to save or improve the lives of over seven recipients.
In her honour, family and friends have created a memorial scholarship at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor: The Hannah Pare Memorial Scholarship.
Hannah’s life will always be remembered by helping future generations of nursing students.
