The HK LEAD Medallion Scholars program recognizes graduating undergraduate students in good standing who have excelled within and beyond the classroom.  To earn a medallion, recipients will have demonstrated Leadership, Engagement, Application, and Discovery during your time in HK at the University of Windsor.  Specifically, we are recognizing your participation in:

Leadership through mentorship, peer-to-peer interaction/support, and campus involvement
Engagement through community service learning, studying abroad, and other planning and outreach activities
Application through internship, practicum, or other hands-on activities related to the student's field of study
Discovery through undergraduate research, publications, or creative pursuits

Through the HK LEAD Medallion Scholars Program, you can receive either a bronze, silver, or gold medal based on how many of the LEAD categories you completed.  Each activity can only count towards one area of LEAD and should be assigned to the medallion category most associated with the type of work/activity you did (e.g., a research internship would count for a Discovery medallion versus an internship at a sport organization counting towards an Application medallion).  You would need to complete one activity to satisfy one category of LEAD.  For a course to be considered, you must have obtained a minimum of a 70% in that course.

GOLD - completing high impact experiences in all 4 areas of LEAD
SILVER - completing high impact experiences in 3 areas of LEAD
BRONZE - completing high impact experiences in 2 areas of LEAD

Reception and medal ceremony will be held before spring/fall convocation so that you can wear your medals when you cross the stage.
