Documents Required

Once you arrive in Canada, you must provide hrstudent@uwindsor.ca your official study permit documentation alongside your social insurance number (SIN) and expiration date. No photos of SIN documentation are required. 

Additionally, you will need to open a Canadian bank account and provide the Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposits form (alongside a void cheque or direct deposit slip from your online banking portal) to hrstudent@uwindsor.ca.

3. Ontario Personal Tax Credits Form TD1ON (Provincial)(.pdf)

4. Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposits (.pdf)
1) Void cheque or direct deposit form from your financial institution OR
2) Request that your financial institution complete the bank information section on the Authorization Agreement Form with signature/stamp

6. Personal Identification Documentation

Domestic Students: Required - Copy of Government Issued Identification. Example: Birth Certificate or Passport
International Students in Canada: Required - Copy of Passport


7. Copy of Study Permit or Employment Authorization
