The Grounds Department may be reached at either extension 3297, 2165 or 2850.
The Grounds Maintenance Department is responsible for providing a functional, safe and aesthetically-pleasing campus environment for the students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University.
Grounds supports the campus’s refuse collection program and embrace environmental sustainability with through our recycling efforts, sustainable landscape and turf management practices.
The department is specifically responsible for:
- Landscape maintenance
- Snow removal and salting
- Recycling & waste removal
- Maintaining turf areas
- Promoting a welcome environment for the community and visitors to campus
- Providing a clean work environment for students, faculty and staff
