With Black History Month on the horizon, the need for continued education surrounding topics of race history, racism in our modern day, and local systems of support, are as important as ever.
Starting on Feb. 5, the Department of Continuing Education invites you to join its program The Fundamentals of Race and Anti-Black Racism to develop a deeper understanding of systemic, and interpersonal racism, as well as to explore participants' relationships to power, privilege, and oppression.
Developed in collaboration with the University of Windsor’s Office of the Vice-President, People, Equity, and Inclusion, and supported by The Black Council of Windsor-Essex, this program shines a light on the importance of reflection, and self-improvement through learning and conversation.
Students, staff members, alumni, and Hire UWindsor partners are eligible for a discount on enrolment. Contact continue@uwindsor.ca for more information.
