International student advisor Deena Wang and international student Bowen Feng will team up for a presentation about the culture of their Chinese homeland on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Wang has already been teaching people about the beauty of the Chinese language through her Mandarin 101 course. Feng originally hails from Shanghai and is currently pursuing studies in the Master of Management program.
Their lecture is part of a series hosted by the International Student Centre to inform students, staff, and faculty about the traditions of lands that are home to UWindsor students.
Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to the brown bag event, which will run 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. in room 204, Laurier Hall. Advance online registration is encouraged but not required.
The ISC Culture Series continues with a session on India, Nov. 13. Sign up to express interest and receive an email reminder.
The centre invites faculty or staff members interested in presenting on their own national cultures and customs to email isc@uwindsor.ca.
