Laboratory door placards communicate the hazards present in the laboratory to all employees, students, visitors and emergency responders. This door placard should be posted on all laboratory entrances and in lab service areas where hazardous materials are used or stored. The information on the caution placard is provided by the Principal Investigator (PI).
