Fort Malden is a National Historic Site, operated by Parks Canada in Amherstburg, Ontario. With historic buildings and artefacts dating to the War of 1812, visitors take a step back in time through presentations and demonstrations. We hire students to work full time from May to September, to portray the life of soldiers and their families during the War of 1812 and Rebellions of 1838. Learn to cook over an open fire, blacksmithing on the forge, tend to our heirloom garden and even fire a musket and cannon!
