Prof. Duquette originally joined the faculty as a Lecturer from 2005 to 2007. She taught several courses, including Research Design, Advanced Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Human Movement and Aging, Applied Neurophysiology and the Physiological Basis of Sports Therapy. After completing her Bachelor of Education, Prof. Duquette returned to the faculty in 2009 to take up her current position as the Kinesiology Laboratory Coordinator. She developed and launched three new Undergraduate Laboratory Courses in the areas of Physiology, Biomechanics and Ergonomics, and Motor Learning and Psychology. She has published articles in Clinical Kinesiology, The Journal of Applied Biomechanics, Human Movement Science and Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science. Prof. Duquette currently researches in the areas of Laboratory Pedagogy and Developing Normative-Referenced Standards based on the Laboratory courses that she teaches. She is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP) and an avid participant and fan of numerous sports!
