UWill Discover Model United Nations (at UWindsor!)

The UWill Discover Sustainable Futures Model United Nations Team presents its second on-campus Model United Nations event on October 26, 2024 at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law. This one-day event is an opportunity to discuss current global issues while gaining skills in negotiation, embodiment, critical thinking, public speaking, and research. Registration begins in September 2024.

Applicant Criteria

Participants of the UWill Discover Sustainable Futures Model UN team must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be legally able and available to enter the United States with an up-to-date passport for the time of travel (November 2024)
  • Applicants must be UWindsor students enrolled in the Fall 2024 semester.
  • Students must have participated in the UWill Discover project as a student-employee, presenter, podcaster, poster presenter, or event participant (STEMx, UWindsor UWill Discover MUN).
  • Beginning in June, students must be able to complete weekly team meetings and tasks (either online or in person).
  • Students must be willing to run a small MUN event at the University of Windsor in the Winter 2025 semester.
