Dear Indigenous and Black students,
We are hosting an event with Franklin E. Ezenwa, a UWindsor alumnus, motivational speaker, Amazon best-selling author, and Software Developer at IBM Canada. He was recently recognized at the 2024 Alumni Awards of Excellence as an outstanding graduate. The event is free and also includes free lunch! Come and gain valuable insights from Franklin as he shares the lessons and wisdom he's gathered throughout his own journey. As part of his visit, Franklin will also be giving away 40 signed copies of his book and much more.

Panel discussion to launch Indigenous and Black student talent incubator

The event was the formal launch of the Cube, an incubator for Indigenous and Black student talent at the University of Windsor. Attendees learnt about opportunities for research, mentorship, career development, and funding support.
They also heard from a panel of experienced professionals:

Alex Mabeka, senior manager FX Global Capital Markets Operations, TD Securities;

Aaron Hohn, associate vice-president, Indigenous Peoples and Environmental, Social and Governance, TD; and

Carrol Edmun, diversity sourcing partner, Indigenous peoples, TD.
