Our research-based programs in Physics include our PhD program and MSc program (Thesis & Major-Paper options). The Doctoral program is typically completed in four years by candidates who have a Master's degree and in five years by candidated who enter directly after an honour's Bachelor's degree. The typical completion time for our research-based Master's programs is two years for the Thesis option and one year for the Major-Paper option. Student who earn research-based degrees pursue careers in a variety of fields such as, higher education, government, scientific publishing, and technical fields.
