Engagement and Community Outreach

Students have many opportunities to be engaged in within the Department of Forensic Science, the Faculty of Science, and the community. Connecting with other students helps to build peer support and expand their professional network within the community.

The UWindsor Forensics Club (UWinFC) is a student-run organization that seeks to improve forensic students' university experiences by providing them with professional development seminars, networking opportunities, meet and greet events during the program, and general support. During the first year of UwinFC, the team hosted one event every month. These events have included educational seminars on health care, meet-the-professor nights, junior student quiz nights, and mentorship meet-and-greets.
