Mentorship in Forensic Sciences

We know that starting a new degree at a new university can be daunting and that students often have questions that they prefer to ask their peers. For this reason, we have established a mentoring program in forensic science whereby students in the first year of their degree are mentored by an upper year Forensic Science student.  The mentor and mentee meet as regularly as needed, either in-person, virtually or through other forms of communication. Regular academic counselling meetings, one-on-one discussions, and social activities are all geared towards ensuring the success of our students.  A dedicated Brightspace website is used to communicate with all the participants.
