Research Assistant
The Karpowicz Lab (www.karpowiczlab.ca) at the University of Windsor has a position for Research Assistant available December 2024. An earlier start date is possible depending on availability.
Individual will provide support for laboratory research involving Drosophila and mice, as well as conduct a research project involving molecular cloning and cell culture / organoid culture. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge and experience of plasmid construction, animal care, tissue culture, DNA genotyping, and molecular biology are highly desirable. Use of MS Office, ability to keep inventories, help with research training and research safety instruction, are also an asset.
Position can be either full-time or part-time, and the schedule is somewhat flexible.
