About
The Behaviour Cognition and Neuroscience Student Association (BCNSA) is the primary student representative of the BCN program. It provides a space for all BCN students to collaborate, voice opinions and learn from one another. A tightly-knit group of elected executives form the basis of the BCNSA and strive to show the unique qualities of the program through various initiatives. In addition to our annual orientation for incoming students, the BCNSA hosts bake sales, speaker talks, wellness events and, of course, our famous gala. Each year, a charity that represents the values and passions of the BCNSA is chosen to be honoured at the gala, and funds raised throughout the year are donated to them.
Though we are small, we are mighty, and the BCNSA works diligently to establish a sense of community and trust amongst BCN students. This year, we are delighted to have such a wonderful group of students on the executive team:
- Katarina Kolobaric (President)
- Alyssa Arundine (Vice-President)
- Bianca Hutton (VP Finance)
- Rebekah Taylor (VP Student Advocacy)
- Angela Hormiz (VP Student Affairs)
- Sausan Hamad (VP Fundraising)
- Lena Saeed (VP Communications)
- Emilia Slijepcevic (Events Coordinator)
- Lana Milidrag (Volunteer Coordinator)
We also offer the opportunity to join our mentorship and outreach volunteer programs for Brain Awareness Week as well as our executive team in the role of secretary. Currently, we are searching for a BCN student to fill the position of BCNSA secretary. For more information about this position or if you have any questions in general, please contact bcnsa@uwindsor.ca.
