As of September 2, 2020, WURA members who use the University's computer resources are required to do two things on a regular basis;
1. Activate your employee UWinID once a year. You do this to confirm that you still want to use the system for another year.
2. Change your password every 120 days. You do this to maintain the security of the services you use.
IT Services provides email and other computer services for the convenience of WURA and other retirees. But people who use these services have a responsibility to maintain their accounts in a secure fashion. Cybersecurity is important to protect your personal information and the integrity of the University's computer infrastructure from hackers.
