We are excited that you are choosing to live in residence for Fall/Winter 2025-2026! We know that this is a new process for many of you so we have some information below to help make the application process as smooth as possible. - Confirm your offer of admission.
- Extend your UWin Account. You will not be able to apply to residence until you have activated your UWin Account.
- After extending your UWin Account you may need to wait 24 hours, or until the next day, to go back into the application. New UWinIDs are uploaded into the university system in the early morning.
- You will have to pay a $475 non-refundable deposit using a credit card. Make sure to have this ready when you start your application.
- Make sure you are answering all questions honestly, this is important to ensure you have the best possible residence experience.
- You will have the opportunity to select your room style preference (double or single), this does not guarantee you that style however we do try to accommodate your preference. You do not get to select your building, we make assignments based on your room style preference.
- When you get to the roommate selection section you may not find any matches right away, you can go back into this section multiple times to try to find a roommate. If you don’t have one selected by June 6th we will select one for you.
- To submit the application, you must complete the last step in the application process and submit.
- You will be emailed when it is time to select your meal plan.
Residence is guaranteed for all students entering their first year of university if you apply to residence by June 6, 2025, after that it is based on availability.
