Inter/Summer 2024

APPLICATION INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE:  Single rooms are now full.  Only double occupancy rooms available

  • Students must be registered to live in residence
  • Students of various ages (post secondary) will be living in Residence for the summer term.   Where possible, Residence Services will match roommates/suitemates according to age.
  • Students will live in Cartier Hall for Inter/Summer 2024
    • Double rooms
    • Shared bathroom with adjoining rooms
  • Residence fees are as follows:

    • Double room will be at a rate of $120 per week 
    • Double room for short-term stays, will be at a rate of a minimum of $160

Meal Plan is optional for Inter/Summer 2024   

  • Please note that Inter-Summer 2024 meal plan options will not be visible to students until they have received their room assignment for the term
    • ​Full Summer (107 days) - $1,950
    • Intersession  (49 days) - $910
    • Summer (6 weeks) - $780

​All University fees including Residence fees are due/payable May 15, 2024

  • Have your credit card ready nearby to avoid being timed out during the application process.  Your credit card will be used to pay a residence deposit of $475
  • Even if you have a credit on your student account, you will still have to pay a residence deposit of $475 when applying.  You can use the credit on your account to pay other university fees

If you are a RETURNING student - disregard the steps below and proceed to fill out the application

If you are a NEW student to the University of Windsor, you will need tcomplete the following steps before you will be able to access the residence application:

  • Step 1
    • Confirm your offer of admission
  • Step 2
    • Make sure you have extended your Uwin Account.  For instructions, click EXTENDING UWin Account
    • New UWinIDs are uploaded into the University system in the early morning, so you may need to wait 24 hours, or until the next day, to go back into the application.
    • If you are experiencing issues with extending your UWin Account, you will need to contact our IT Services Department at www.uwindsor.ca/its

INTER-SUMMER PROGRAM MOVE-IN AND SESSION DATES 

  • Move-in date: May 5, 2024
  • Session dates: May 6, 2024 through August 7, 2024
  • Exam Date(s): August 10, 2024 to August 19, 2024
  • Move-out date: August 20, 2024 OR 24 hours after your last exam, whichever comes first
  • 15 weeks plus 2 days of accommodation (includes classes, breaks, and exams)
  • Fees are due and payable May 15, 2024 (unless otherwise stated)
  • Application for Inter/Summer 2024
  • Move-in day: Sunday, May 5, 2024
  • Session dates: May 6, 2024 through June 17, 2024
  • Exam Date(s): June 20, 2024 – June 22, 2024
  • Move-out date: June 23, 2024 OR 24 hours after your last exam, whichever comes first
  • 7 weeks of accommodation (includes classes, breaks, and exams)
  • Fees are due and payable May 15, 2024 (unless otherwise stated)
  • Application for Inter/Summer 2024
  • Move-in day: Sunday, June 23, 2024
  • Session dates: June 24, 2024 through August 6, 2024
  • Exam Date(s): August 10, 2024 through August 19, 2024
  • Move-out date: August 20, 2024 OR 24 hours after your last exam, whichever comes first
  • 8 weeks plus 2 days of accommodation (includes classes, breaks, and exams)
  • Fees are due and payable, May 15, 2024 (unless otherwise stated)
  • Application for Inter/Summer 2024
  • If you are enrolled in one of the programs listed above, select “Other” when completing your application     
  • Fees are due and payable, May 15, 2024 (unless otherwise stated)
