Professor, Management Science
Dr. Kevin Li joined the Odette School of Business in September 2004.
Dr. Li holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Waterloo, a Master's of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Sciences from Xiamen University, Xiamen, Fujian, China. Prior to joining the Odette School of Business he taught as a part-time instructor in the Department of Management Sciences and Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, and the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. His research interests include logistics and supply chain management, multiple-participant decision models, inventory management, negotiation and multiple criteria decision analysis.
Dr. Li was awarded two Invitation Fellowships from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and held them at the Tokyo Institute of Technology during May - July 2015 and June - December 2011. Dr. Li was also recognized with the 2009, 2014, 2018, 2023 Odette Awards for Research Excellence and the 2005 and 2007 Odette New Researcher Awards. In addition, Dr. Li was named the Commerce Society Professor of the Year in Management Science in 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Li's research has been supported by three individual Discovery Grants by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
