Awards & Bursaries
The Organization of Part-time University Students (OPUS) at the University of Windsor is dedicated to supporting part-time and mature undergraduate students by offering a variety of scholarships and bursaries. These financial awards are designed to alleviate the financial challenges often faced by students balancing academics with other responsibilities, such as work and family commitments.
By providing these opportunities, OPUS aims to recognize academic achievement, support students facing financial hardships, and encourage continued educational success. The scholarships and bursaries are typically funded through our organizaiton along with donors, partnerships with the university and external organizations, and contributions from the community. Awards may vary in eligibility criteria, such as academic performance, financial need, or specific fields of study, ensuring a broad range of students can benefit from this support.
These initiatives reflect OPUS's commitment to empowering part-time and mature students to achieve their academic goals and help with their academic endeavors overall.
"Providing the topmost quality of service to students, faculty and staff in all academic areas is something that OPUS strives to achieve".
