October 25, 2013 - Congratulations to recent graduate Katrina Baldwin (BScN '13) and instructor Virgina Walsh, whose article titled "An Essential Safe Practice: Independent Double Checks with High-Alert Medications" has been accepted for publication in Nursing 2013. Katrina worked on this paper as part of the Transition to Practice course (scholarly writing lab component), which was taught by Virginia Walsh.

The ATHENA Scholarship Program was created in 1999 for full-time post-secondary students between the ages of 18 and 30 years old.
