Ross Turner is Principal Trumpet of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 1989. He has also performed with many other regional orchestras, including the Hamilton Philharmonic, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canadian Opera Company, Flint Symphony, Lansing Symphony, Saginaw Bay Symphony, Orchestra London, Thunder Bay Symphony, Regina Symphony and Victoria Symphony. He is currently a member of the Beaumont Brass – the Faculty Brass Quintet at MSU, and has toured and recorded with the Brass Rings Quintet.
 
Ross receivied a DMA in Performance from Michigan State University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Performance while studying with Richard Illman. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Victoria, where he studied with Louis Ranger. He also earned a Performance Diploma with Don Johnson and Bramwell Smith at Humber College in Toronto, studied at the Utrechts Conservatorium in The Netherlands with Willem van der Vliet, and completed the Orchestral Training Program through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
 
While his main focus is on classical music, Ross has also performed extensively in the commercial realm. He has worked with Johnny Mathis, Il Divo, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Mannheim Steamroller, David Foster, Petula Clark, Marie Osmond, Frankie Valli, Barry Manilow, and many more. He also has a great deal of music theatre experience, having performed in many shows in Toronto, including South Pacific and Miss Saigon at the Four Seasons Centre, and Wicked and Fiddler on the Roof at the Canon Theatre. He has toured North America with The King & I, Chicago, and Annie Get your Gun, and toured Asia with The Sound of Music.
 
Ross is currently pursuing interests in solo trumpet repertoire, and baroque trumpet performance practice.

Robert Fazecash is a music performance graduate of the University of Windsor. As a veteran trumpeter in the Windsor and Detroit areas, Mr. Fazecash is at home in any musical genre. He played principal trumpet in Orchestra Detroit, the Michigan Chamber Orchestra and the Farmington Area Philharmonic. Mr. Fazecash has performed with jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Thad Jones, Billy Eckstine, Buddy DeFranco, Joe Williams and Jon Faddis. He has also recorded with Detroit’s famous jazz drummer J.C. Heard. In addition to his extensive classical and jazz experience Mr. Fazecash has performed with such notable musical entertainers as Aretha Franklin, Burt Bacharach, Natalie Cole, Sammy Davis Jr. and Wayne Newton to name a few. Mr. Fazecash is currently active as a performer and teacher in the Windsor and Detroit areas. He is Director of the University of Windsor Jazz Ensemble.

Iris Krizmanic holds the position of principal horn in the Windsor Symphony and also has the pleasure of being third horn in the Niagara Symphony. Iris graduated from the Glenn Gould School (GGS), having studied with principal horn of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Neil Deland, and Associate Principal horn, Christopher Gongos. She has worked under many renowned conductors such as Bramwell Tovey, Uri Meyer, Mario Bernardi, and Richard Bradshaw amongst others, and had the wonderful opportunity to tour to China with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra as part of a cultural outreach program for the school. As a soloist, she has been featured by a number of orchestras including the Greater Toronto Philharmonic and the Scarborough Philharmonic performing Richard Strauss' first horn concerto, the Windsor Symphony performing Mozart's 4th horn concerto, Mozart's 3rd concerto with the Windsor Community Orchestra, and has recently had the unique opportunity to perform the Larsson Concertino with the Dundas Valley Orchestra. A multi-talented musician, Iris is also an accomplished singer and she plays the cello. She has participated in the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute as a vocalist, has performed in musicals and G&S productions as a cellist, and she loves playing chamber music, especially with her woodwind quintet, Quintagious!.
