Book a Study Space

The Law Library has several rooms that may be booked by Law students for group meetings or study purposes.

To book a room:

1. Check availability and book a study room. Please note: you must check in within the first 15 minutes or the room will be made available to others.

2. Please visit the circulation desk, or

3. Email lawcirc@uwindsor.ca The room is not booked until a confirmation email is sent back, or

Eligible users:

Study spaces are available to Law students and to UWindsor Law Alumni only.

AV/HDMI Functionality:

All rooms now have AV/HDMI capability.  The following HDMI cables can be signed out at the circulation desk:

  • USB-C
  • 6.6 Foot
  • Flexible Micro

To connect:

  1. Plug your device into the HDMI outlet below the monitor. 
  2. Turn on the monitor using the power pad located on the wall beside the monitor. 
  3. See library staff for assistance.

Policies:  

  • Groups of 2 or more may book rooms for up to 5 hours at one time, one booking per group per day.  Booked time may be extended if requested towards the end of the session and if the room is available.
  • Individual students may book rooms for up to 3 hours at one time, one booking per student per day.  Booked time may be extended if requested towards the end of the session and if the room is available.
  • Rooms may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance and students may book up to 5 sessions in advance.
  • If you fail to show within 15 minutes of the start of your session and check into your room, the booking will be cancelled.
  • Beverages and food may be consumed, however we ask that you limit foods with strong odours and refrain from having food delivered.
