Windsor Law was delighted to have the Honourable Yasir Naqvi, Attorney General of Ontario, speak at the 2018 Duck Lecture. The Minister delivered an engaging speech to encourage current and future lawyers to challenge the status quo and continue to push for justice system reform.

Justice Russell Brown delivers keynote at the 2018 Canadian Law Student Conference

The Canadian Law Student Conference, hosted by the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, welcomed keynote speaker Justice Russell Brown of the Supreme Court of Canada to Windsor Law. 

Justice Brown, who was an academic prior to his appointment and taught at The University of Alberta, Faculty of Law, delivered a lecture on tort law to students and faculty. 

50 Years of Faculty Scholarship: Faculty of Law Book Launch and Scholarship Celebration

Windsor Law kicked off the 50th anniversary year in January with a book launch and scholarship celebration. The Honourable George R. Strathy, Chief Justice of Ontario, and University of Windsor President, Dr. Alan Wildeman joined us to congratulate our faculty and celebrated authors: Pascale Chapdelaine, Sujith Xavier, Brian Manarin, William Bogart, Julie MacFarlane and Richard Moon.
