Windsor Law alumna, the Honourable Mary Jo Nolan ’81, was one of six individuals who received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree during the University of Windsor’s 109th Convocation.
Nolan was called to the bar in 1983 and in 2005 she became the first female judge appointed to the Superior Court in Essex County. Retired from the bench since 2014, she continues to work as an arbitrator and mediator and continuously supports and mentors the students at Windsor Law.
