Global Protect Update - Thursday, April 3
IT Services will update GlobalProtect on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

After the update is applied, you may be prompted that a new version of GlobalProtect is available when you connect to the VPN. Accept the notification to install the new version of the GlobalProtect VPN client. The new version will be downloaded in the background, and once it is ready, you will be prompted to install it. We recommend that you reboot your computer once the installation is complete.

If you experience issues after the new version is installed, first reboot your computer. If issues persist, please contact the IT Service Desk.

UWinsite Student Maintenance - Thursday, April 3 from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

On Thursday, April 3, IT Services will be performing system maintenance on UWinsite Student between 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. During this time, connectivity may be briefly interrupted in which case you may have to log in again.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Change to wireless network options (Wednesday, March 26)

The wireless network "uwindsor" will no longer appear on the list of available campus networks. Please use the "eduroam", "uwinsecure", or "uwinreslife" networks instead.

UWinsite Student Maintenance - Thursday, March 6 from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

On Thursday, March 6, IT Services will be performing system maintenance on UWinsite Student between 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. During this time, connectivity may be briefly interrupted in which case you may have to log in again.

Updated: Outage Investigation

I.T. Services is currently investigating an outage from an Internet service provider causing an issue accessing some University of Windsor Services. Updates will be proved when available.

Update: A nation wide issue was resolved and access has been restored at this time. We are still monitoring the situation. If you are still unable to access a system please submit a ticket. 

Brightspace Disruption – Thursday, February 27 - Resolved

Brightspace is experiencing a disruption. Some users may not be able to access Class Teams. The IT Services team is investigating and will resolve the issue as soon as possible.
