Academic Writing Support
Students can book aconsultation at the Leddy Library Writing Support Desk to learn important skills that will teach them how to write strong and effective papers.
Connecting4Success
Connecting4Success is a mentorship program that provides new students with personalized attention to support their successful transition to university. Our mentors consist of supportive senior level students, professional staff and faculty members.
Bounce Back
Bounce Back is a program designed to support students who are struggling to find success during their post-secondary experience, and will run weekly for 8 weeks, starting in the Winter semester. This program takes a holistic approach to student success. The program will focus on ways to increase your academic performance through effective learning strategies (i.e. time management, essay and exam preparation, etc.) but is also attentive to the other factors that can pose difficulties to first-year students (i.e. social adjustment, stress, mental health, etc.).
Academic Integrity Office
The Academic Integrity Office is a resource for all members of the campus community with respect to any academic integrity-related issue. We promote honesty through:
- awareness campaigns
- educational workshops for students
- information sessions for faculty
- one-on-one or small group meetings with students, faculty, and administration
English Language Support (ELIP and CELD)
ELIP and CELD are programs are designed to assist with English language training for academic and professional purposes.
Orientation
There are orientations held at the beginning of each semester for new students to settle in and learn about the campus.
