The Stop Smoking For Better Health - Take the First Step Today information sheets have been designed to enhance understanding of nicotine as an addiction, and highlight the benefits of quitting, myths about quitting, how to support someone who wants to quit smoking, common triggers, withdrawal symptoms, strategies for managing cravings, supports available and much more.
This campaign consists of 7 information sheets which emerged from the work of the Department of Human Resources, the Workplace Wellness Committee and the research conducted by the 4th year students from the Faculty of Nursing (Fall 2019 and Winter 2020) placed in Human Resources.
