Work Alone

Working Alone on Campus:

Employees should consult with their supervisor prior to working alone and follow any established departmental procedures in addition to the guidance below. If working alone and performing medium or high-risk work activities (e.g., working with hazardous equipment, systems or materials, working at heights, etc.), a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)/Risk Assessment must be completed by the supervisor and appropriate departmental control measures or procedures implemented.

Please contact Health and Safety for assistance in completing the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or for general guidelines when working alone during routine work.
