Academic Misconduct

Academic Misconduct means any actions by a student that gives the student an unearned advantage in matters affecting his/her academic standing. This includes plagiarism. 

The process regarding allegations of academic ​misconduct generally involves three levels:

  • Level 1: Course Instructor 
  • Level 2: Department Head/School Director
  • Level 3: Associate Dean, Student Experience and Interdisciplinary Studies 

Only the Associate Dean, Student Experience and Interdisciplinary can impose sanctions.
