The newly created ITE student chapter at the University of Windsor aims to promote the field of transportation to the student community, attract students to the transportation engineering profession, and build connections with academic and industry partners through the larger ITE community.
The University of Windsor is home to two growing research groups, the Cross Border Institute and the Transportation Systems Innovation labs, which provide students opportunities to explore a wide array of transportation-related topics.
The new ITE student chapter will contribute to providing students information on various topics of interest in transportation engineering through seminar series featuring speakers from various industry and academic backgrounds, collaborative events with other institutions, social and networking events, and organizing technical tours to highlight various areas of transportation engineering.
